Springboks head coach Rassie Erasmus insists his side have only got closer together after their dramatic defeat to Australia.

The Springboks are ready to rectify their mistakes in the second Test against the Wallabies in Cape Town, but face a daunting challenge without key players like Siya Kolisi and Pieter-Steph du Toit.

Wings Kurt-Lee Arendse and Edwill van der Merwe are also out, while in Kolisi's absence, Jesse Kriel will lead the side.
