Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson has officially vetoed the "snap curfew" ordinance narrowly passed by the city council earlier this week.

Ald. Brian Hopkins plans to keep making the case for his ordinance, but added that he will not “twist arms” to try to overrule Mayor Brandon Johnson’s veto.
