A Southern California man was arrested Friday on suspicion of sending money to and declaring support for the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria, or ISIS, federal prosecutors said.

The FBI arrested on Friday a man in Long Beach, California, for allegedly sending money to the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria, a designated foreign terrorist organization, according to the Department of Justice.

A preliminary magnitude-4.4 earthquake in the San Bernardino area produced shaking that was felt over widespread parts of Southern California. The quake, reported at about 9:30 a.m., was one of four of magnitude-2.5 or greater in the area, which includes the communities of Muscoy and Rialto.

A magnitude 4.3 earthquake rumbled through Muscoy in San Bernardino County on Thursday morning, triggering shaking across the Inland Empire region, Los Angeles and Orange counties, according to the U.
