LJ Martin ran for a career-high 222 yards and scored twice to help No. 11 BYU keep its Big 12 title-game hopes alive with a 26-14 victory over Cincinnati on Saturday night.

CINCINNATI — After starting 5-0 in Big 12 play, Scott Satterfield’s Cincinnati Bearcats have lost three straight, most recently falling Saturday night to No. 11 BYU. But despite the loss, Satterfield felt it was as good of a game atmosphere as he’s been around since arriving in the Queen City.

Quarterback Brendan Sorsby threw for 300 yards and two touchdowns, but the Bearcats left plenty of points on the field as they didn't score on a fourth-and-one from the 3-yard line, missed three field goals and fumbled another time at the BYU 17-yard line.
