DES MOINES, Iowa (KCCI) - KCCI reports, a Des Moines man has been arrested in connection with a pipe bomb that was found at Waveland Golf Course this week. “It was just lead after lead after lead that eventually led us to this person’s house,” said Sgt. Paul Parizek, Des Moines Police Department.

DMPD spokesperson Sgt. Paul Parizek said "one of the theories" early in their investigation is that the IED was left behind over the Fourth of July holiday. But, he said, "It's definitely an IED. This was not a firework.
