President Trump said nearly every federal agency in the U.S. government could fall under the scrutiny of Elon Musk and the White House's Department of Government Efficiency, known as DOGE. CBS News White House reporter Willie James Inman has more.

Marko Elez, the DOGE staffer who resigned after racist social media posts including a call to "normalize Indian hate" surfaced, will return to work for Musk, the billionaire announced.

Nineteen attorneys general, including New York’s Letitia James, accused the president of failing to faithfully execute the nation’s laws when he let Mr. Musk comb through federal computer systems.
