Falcons first-round pick Jalon Walker has been dealing with a hamstring injury during training camp, but the edge rusher has improved enough to return to the field on a limited basis.

On Tuesday, any lingering effects didn't appear evident, at least in the clip Maria got of Walker in action. That's him tearing off the line and bullying seventh-round offensive tackle Jack Nelson. With James Pearce Jr. also continuing to make waves in camp, the Falcons' rookie vibes are strong.

According to team reporter Terrin Waack, five players, including Mooney, are sitting out at Monday's practice. Cornerback Keith Taylor, linebacker Malik Verdon, linebacker Troy Andersen and offensive lineman Storm Norton were all sidelined. Andersen is on the PUP list and Verdon is on the NFI list.
