The Toronto Maple Leafs and Nick Robertson have reportedly reached a settlement ahead of their arbitration case that was scheduled for Sunday.

The gap between Robertson’s request and the Maple Leafs’ offer is $1.05 million, but the standoff has become one of the most contentious contract negotiations of the offseason. The Robertson case, as reported by Sportnet's Elliotte Friedman on Saturday, is the only one remaining.

Nick Robertson and the Toronto Maple Leafs reached a new agreement prior to a scheduled arbitration case, as the 23-year-old is coming back on a one-year contract worth $1.825 million.
