With a dramatic turnaround last season, the National Women’s Soccer League champion Orlando Pride are now among the teams to beat as the 2025 season opens.

The league’s premier games are played Friday nights on Prime Video, and Orlando only had three last season. There’s no fewer than eight in 2025.

With the excitement surrounding the new season, all eyes will be on the Pride as they aim to defend their title and set the tone for another championship campaign.

Orlando holds a 7-12-2 record against Chicago but has gone four games unbeaten. Their last meeting was a 4-1 victory last postseason en route to the franchise’s first title.
