Odds for a potential tropical system that is producing heavy rain and thunderstorms off Florida’s east coast have increased again as of Monday night.

The threat of significant flooding across South Florida has passed for now, as rainfall totals on Monday came in within forecasted expectations.

Deep moisture combined with an area of low pressure moving in from the east will keep South Florida busy on Monday. A flood watch is in effect until 11 p.m. for the eastern portions of Palm Beach, Broward and Miami-Dade counties.
