Russell Crowe will instruct Henry Cavill in the ways of the immortals in the remake of “ Highlander .”

He was Henry Cavill's father in "Man of Steel", and now he'll be rejoining Cavill in a different kind of adventure. Collide r reports that Crowe has been cast in the Chad Stahelski-directed "Highlander" reboot, in "a key role opposite Henry Cavill" who is leading the film.

Russell Crowe is boarding Amazon MGM Studios and United Artists’ Highlander in the Ramirez mentor role made famous by Sean Connery in the original 1986 movie. He joins already cast lead Henry Cavill.
