Trump has moved to strip Temporary Protected Status from thousands of Venezuelans living legally in the U.S., and they now could face imminent deportation.

The high court on Monday paused a lower-court order that blocked the Department of Homeland Security from removing those protections while litigation proceeds.

The administration also is ending the designation for roughly half a million Haitians in August.
