Donald Trump is pulling the United States out of another international body as he continues to pursue his “America first” foreign policy. The US will no longer be a part of the United Nations Education, Scientific and Cultural Organisation (Unesco), which was set up after the second world war to promote peace around the world.
‘President Trump has decided to withdraw the United States from UNESCO – which supports woke, divisive cultural and social causes that are totally out-of-step with the commonsense policies that Americans voted for in November,’ stated White House spokeswoman Anna Kelly on Tuesday.
