ST. PAUL, Minn. -- Jack Eichel scored his first goal this postseason and had an assist for the Vegas Golden Knights, who eliminated the Minnesota Wild with a 3-2 win in Game 6 of the Western Conference First Round at Xcel Energy Center on Thursday.

ST. PAUL, Minn - For the eighth time in the last ten seasons, the Minnesota Wild have lost in the first round. The only two years in that ten year span they did not lose in the first round, they missed the playoffs.

The Vegas Golden Knights claimed victory 3-2 against the Minnesota Wild in game 6, winning the series 4-2 and advancing into round 2 of the Stanley Cup playoffs.
