TGIB! Thank God It’s Beaver! I was asked for a close-up video of a beaver chewing a tree. This is about as close-up to a wild beaver chewing you can hope for. At times in the video you can see the lower incisors carve through the wood. Remarkably, a beaver’s bite strength isn’t off the charts. A beaver can bite at 180 psi … more than a human (88psi), but less even than a typical dog (300 psi). They can do this because their lower incisors are incredibly sharp.
