February 15, 2026 - What a fantastic day on Alton Bay. Winter Carnival and almost perfect winter weather drew 131 landings, which brings our season total to 731! I want to thank the pilots who flew in today, from as far as Virginia, and were patient as we managed the high traffic volumes and limited parking. I also want to thank all of the spectators who came down to the bay to watch all of the aircraft. And I really want to thank all of the Ice Runway staff on the ground and in the FBO who made

Alton Bay Ice Runway. Sunday February 15th was the Alton Bay Winter Carnival. They registered 131 landings, bringing the season total to 731. It was a VERY busy day with aircraft waiting on the taxiway for aircraft to depart from the full ramp so they could park.
