Instead of fiberglassing in place, this stringer was glassed outside the hull first, then installed and tabbed in later. Here's how we did it: 👇 🔹 The stringer was cut to final size and the top edge routed so fiberglass could conform smoothly 🔹 A temporary fixture was screwed in place and wrapped in clear cellophane tape so epoxy wouldn’t bond to it 🔹 A coat of neat epoxy was rolled on to seal the wood and fill the pores 🔹 Fiberglass was applied using the dry method, adding epoxy as needed
