St Kilda. 40 Miles West of the Outer Hebrides, Scotland - a truly remarkable place. This sea stack (Boreray) towers out the ocean, it's so diffcuilt to gauge the scale until you're right beside it in a 10m rib! How people managed to land on it hundreds of years ago to catch nesting birds is inconprehensible. Still haven't quite got over how amazing that day on St Kilda was! St Kilda lies around 40 miles west of the other Outer Hebrides and the main island Hirta was inhabited for millenia, the locals developing a unique way of life.
