Our first feature of Black History Month is our 2013 production, "Beyoncé!" This show celebrates Beyoncé Knowles, one of the world's best-selling recording artists. She has won more Grammy Awards than any other singer, and, in 2014, was named the highest-earning Black musician of all time by Billboard! While Michigan first played the Rose Bowl in 1902, 1948 marked the band's first performance in the Tournament of Roses. But this was not the only new thing about this performance. On January 1st, the band took the field and shocked crowds with a new style of high step marching.
