Police in Gary, Indiana are investigating a shooting that left a 9-year-old child dead on Sunday afternoon. According to GPD, officers responded to a 911 hang-up call at a residence in the 400 block of Madison Street. Before officers reached the scene, GPD received a call from Methodist Northlake Hospital about a 9-year-old gunshot victim.
