Which compost do I use… So if I am sowing seeds, thinning out, potting on I will ALWAYS buy Sylvagrow it’s absolutely the best (in my opinion) and x2 40l bags are always £16 at my local garden centre. If I am planting perennials or shrubs in pots, and I am adding in manure or other organic matter then I am less fussy! This year my whole container garden was planted up with Growmoor black gold compost which is specifically for regaining moisture and I would say it was amazing in the drought! 👌🏼
