The City of Tshwane has identified over 800 municipal fleet vehicles deemed surplus to requirements, which will be auctioned off to generate revenue. These vehicles, currently stationed at various depots, are too costly for the city to maintain, and selling them on the second-hand market will be a more practical solution.
