Alberta wildlife hospital says human-wildlife conflict is on the rise

Alberta towns and cities are surrounded by rural and natural areas. Many animals, such as coyotes, foxes and magpies, have readily adapted to life in the city. Having wildlife in our communities have many benefits. Most encounters with wildlife are very pleasant and do not pose a public safe threat. But, we need to do our part to avoid conflict with our wildlife neighbours by taking simple precautions to reduce the risks associated with wildlife in urban settings. This includes: - Never feeding
