African serval Goya and caracal Sorcha are such good friends, despite being different wildcat species. But servals and caracals have a lot of similiarities. Both wildcats can jump at least 10 feet vertically to catch birds. In fact, we have occasionally noticed piles of feathers in their habitat. They require heated dens as they are native to Africa. Serval Reina and caracal Hantara were both found as kittens from someone who had illegally bred them with the intent of selling them as pets. They also share an enclosure with serval Goya and caracal Sorcha and because they were raised together since they were kittens, they get along really well, even though they're two different species. | Safe Haven Wildlife Sanctuary
